Dev Raturi has brought Diwali lights and Holi colour to cities that had never seen them before, taught yoga in classrooms far from India, and spoken at institutions including Eurasia University and Xi'an Northwest University. For him, cultural diplomacy never happened across a negotiating table — it happened over food, festivals, and the simple act of showing up, year after year, as himself. The result is a body of work Chinese state media has described as a bridge "between two ancient civilisations" — a description that, increasingly, applies far beyond China alone.
